Oregon Waterfalls

Some friends came over to visit some of the fallsi in Oregon. On the way to Multnomah falls we stopped to see Wahkeena falls. Multnomah falls is the biggest waterfal I have ever seen and it is also my favorite as it is the most visual appealing. The first time I went there I hiked all the way to the top which I would not hike again. The landscape views were beautiful but the waterfal did not look any better from the top.

As soon as you start walking towards Multnomah falls it feels like it is raining. Since it is such a big waterfal the whole area is covered in water. The trees have moss hanging from them and covering them completely and the ferns are growing all around. I have many photos of different parts of the ladscape but I won't post them as I know they are not as interesting for others.

After these beautiful waterfals I drove to the Bridal Veil waterfall as they are all very close to each other. There was a very short hike to see Bridal Veil falls, totally worth it. There are other waterfalls in the area that I went to but they were not as beautiful as these three I have just talked about. The way I can explain the bridal veil is when the bride has her head turned and the veil is coming from the side and around to the back. It is a beautiful waterfal and it is a lot larger than the photo but I wanted to caputer the whole area so it doesn't show how large it actually is.

If you are near Portland I would definitly recomend all of these waterfalls. They are also within 10 miles of each other so it is totally worth it to visit all of them.
