Redwood National Park
Driving home from Oregon I decided to visit 8 national parks but only made it to 6. I left Oregon on Monday morning and arrived in Georgia on Friday. The first National Park I went to was the Redwood National Park. I drove through the Howland Hill Road. There are also a lot of very beautiful areas to hike to see more redwood trees.
Through my drive I was worried the roads would be too rough for my small Honda Civic. I had to drive pretty slow because there were a lot of potholes but it was not as rough as I had expected. The road was also pretty big so two cars could pass by each other without a problem. The drive was beautiful and the trees were bigger than my car. I would stop the car on the side and take photos in areas where I could place my phone on my car to take photos. I would recommend going to this national park with at least another person so that you can take photos of each other.
Here are some photos I have taken at the national Park:
There are other things to see in the area such as the Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway and Cal-Barrel Road.
If you are looking to hike in the Redwood National Park area definitely check out this hike:
James Irvine Trail - This hike is said to be the best hike in the area. Cosists of 10.4 miles. The trail connects with the Fern Canyon hike so it is worth walking through the entire trail.
